The Waterline Restaurant at Keppel Bay Marina invites applications for an experienced Chef.
Aside from the excellent view, we offer a modern contemporary menu with Asian influences seven days a week. Waterline is prepared to offer $73000 - $80000 annually for this prestigious role.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Cooking and preparing various menus from Breakfast to Evening dining;
• Adhering to recipes and procedures;
• Discussing formal preparation issues with Managers, Dieticians and Kitchen & Waiting staff;
• Selecting and training staff;
• Maintaining restaurant plating and cooking standards; and
• Working 38 hours/week.
Required skills and attributes:
• A career-focused progression as a Chef with a passion for food;
• Ability to be adaptable and work various shifts across a 7-day operation;
• Previous experience in a high volume a la carte restaurant environment;
• Attention to detail;
• Strong work ethic;
• Excellent communication skills;
• As you are working in an Open Kitchen, Chef must have a good kitchen temperament and personal presentation;
• Being a team member;
Previous experience in modern Asian/Australian cuisine is preferred.
