Restaurant Manager
An opportunity now exists for a Restaurant Manager to lead our front of house team and to work closely with our Head Chef to create memorable dining experiences for our discerning guests.
The Role
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the outlet, ensuring customer service is to a high standard, bookings are managed efficiently and the staff are trained, motivated and appreciated.
• Full time permanent position, live on island
• Deal with requests, enquiries and complaints in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
• Opening and closing duties as required, including cashiering functions
• Identify any staff development needs and implement training, conduct performance reviews
• Responsible for rostering, stocktaking, ordering, and monitoring wastage and wage costs
About You
You are a positive and experienced manager with a “can do” attitude, with a passion for developing your team and exceeding your guest’s expectations.
You will have
• Previous management experience in a large, fast paced restaurant
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Current Queensland recognised RSA
• Open QLD Drivers Licence preferred
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
