We are now looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Drafter to join us and help us develop and expand.
Annual Salary: $90,376 plus superannuation contributions
Duties and responsibilities of the Civil Engineering Drafter:
• Analysing and examining data; creating detailed and precise technical drawings for civil engineering works for projects by using AutoCAD
• Working closely with engineers to clarify project design specifications, reviewing and examining technical documents to ensure accuracy; reviewing and adjusting existing drawings to ensure compliance with relevant terms and regulations
• Assessing and estimating material quantities, calculating construction costs, and preparing material cost proposals
• Visiting the construction site and conducting fieldwork to ensure adherence to the design; gathering data and providing input on technical issues related to the project
• Participating in the project-related meetings with other colleagues, providing updates on the progress of the project
The applicant must have the following required skills and experience:
Qualification
Diploma or higher level qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience
At least three years of relevant work experience
Essential Skills
• Proficiency in civil engineering drafter software such as AutoCAD
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent ability to read and create civil engineering drawings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant industry experience is preferred
