An excellent opportunity is available for a Research Officer to join the Visvader/Lindeman Laboratory within the Cancer Biology and Stem Cells D ivision at Australia's pre-eminent biomedical research institute.
About the position
The Visvader/Lindeman Laboratory focuses on the role of stem cell biology in breast development and cancer. The laboratory has a long-standing interest in the breast epithelial differentiation hierarchy, identifying regulators of normal development, and deciphering cellular and molecular mechanisms that lead to breast cancer.
The Research Officer is to contribute to the research effort and further develop their research expertise on understanding the molecular mechanisms that underpin cancer initiation and progression. The position will involve breast cancer biology, developing mouse models of tumour development, establishment of tissue assays and use of multimodal molecular technologies.
