This well-established international freight forwarder is currently searching for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their energetic team and play a pivotal role in driving continued new business growth into the organisation. All the tools necessary to assist in your success will come your way, as will an attractive remuneration package including base salary, car allowance and uncapped commission structure.
The role encompasses all aspects of international freight forwarding sales and you will be expected to actively penetrate maximum new business opportunities in this competitive environment.
Duties & responsibilities include:
Generate and/or action sales leads
Attend sales appointments
Formulate and submit quotations
Report on business movement, opportunities, industry trends, competitor activity and past/future sales appointments
Maintain a customer target list
