A privately owned farm an easy drive from Roma in Southern Queensland has a position available for a Mixed Farm Hand. The farm grows sustainable crops and produces high-quality beef.
Reporting to the owner, your duties include all aspects of min-till cropping, cattle backgrounding and feedlot work, mechanical and general maintenance, and record keeping.
This full-time position is best suited to a worker with similar experience in a team working environment but the farmer will teach some skills to an energetic worker with a happy outlook who would like to transition from cropping or cattle work to mixed farming if they have strong observation skills, show attention to detail and like to use their initiative. And workers who like to pen ride are welcome to bring their own horses and tack.
