About the role
As a Mine Surveying Lecture you will teach and assist students in obtaining their qualification by:
Running classes with practical and theory lessons working both indoors and outdoors
Teaching how to produce maps and the analysis of geographic information system (GIS) data
Teaching how to use surveying software
Collecting spatial data related to roads, railways and open pit mining operations.
Key Requirements For Success
Completed a three-year surveying qualification including mining and geology units
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (Desirable)
Minimum of 5 years? recent surveying experience working in an underground mining environment or done FIFO for more than 37.5 hour per week can be less than five years.
Understand the workflow process in and around an underground mine site
