About the role
We are seeking a Youth Peer Worker to support the headspace Oran Park team in delivering high-quality mental health services to young people.
This is a full-time role, currently available until 30 June , with the potential for extension based on continued funding. We strongly encourage you to reach out with any queries you have about headspace funding. The position will be based in the Oran Park headspace centre.
This position offers the opportunity to:
provide open, appropriate and effective support to young people and their family seeking support from headspace Oran Park while working alongside the clinical team.
Use your own lived experience of life changing mental health challenges, mental health service use, as well as periods of healing and personal recovery to support young people accessing the program with their own lived experience of the same.
