Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team. The Truck Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic services on a fleet of trucks, ensuring vehicles are in optimal operating condition. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy-duty trucks.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake adjustments, and tune-ups.
Troubleshoot and repair engine components, transmissions, drive-trains, brakes, steering systems, and suspension.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and improve vehicle longevity.
Replace defective parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
