Your new team
Reporting to the Head of Tax and working closely with the Senior Taxation Accountant, you will provide support to the Tax team that manages all of Auto & Generals taxation obligations. You will also have the opportunity to work with the Financial Accounting team.
The role
Prepare the Auto & General Group income tax and FBT returns
Assist with the preparation of monthly Business Activity Statements, payment times reporting, insurance duty returns and payroll tax returns for the Auto & General Group
Assist with the preparation of tax calculations and disclosures required for accounting purposes
Maintain and update the tax fixed asset registers
Assist with researching tax issues and drafting advice to the business operations
Support the groups tax governance, by identifying tax risks and improving tax policies and procedures.
