We're looking for a detail oriented accountant to join a growing privately owned organisation based in Brisbane. This is a newly created Accountant role supporting a specific Business Unit within the QLD region. In this role, you'll manage financial records, ensure accuracy, and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making. This is a full time role.
Reporting to a Finance Business Partner for QLD, you will be responsible for:
Journals and prepayments
Reconciliations (Bank and supplier)
Fixed asset management
Prepare and analyze financial statements.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Job costing data entry
Generating and reviewing invoices
AP and AR
Ad hoc financial accounting
Assist with Payroll as needed
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar
3 years accounting experience
Intermediate Excel skills
