Two Clans Pty Ltd, require Chefs and Cooks able to work in a busy establishment.
Minimum 1-2 years relevant commercial cookery experience
Chef de-partie, + kitchen supervisor/chef experience
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or above is desirable
English Language Ability, suitable test where required for sponsorship.
The role;
Assisting the head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations;
Chef de partie, supervision of kitchen staff and section
Chef de partie, menu design and costing
Chef de partie, budgeting and stock take
Preparing and cooking food to a benchmark standard for the restaurant;
Ensuring that the meals are prepared, produced, presented and served to the highest possible standards;
Working in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations;
Ordering stock under the direction of the head Chef;
Checking deliveries as per order sheets;
In collaboration with the head Chef and other kitchen staff contribute to the planning and development of recommendations for improved work procedures;
Handle complaints and customer suggestions in a professional manner;
Upholding and maintain correct standards of hygiene and safety;
Undertake as required, training which may be deemed necessary;
Communicate effectively with the kitchen crew and other members of staff;
Any additional duties associated with the kitchen or food production as directed by the Head Chef or management.
Full-time positions will be provided with an Annualised Salary based upon the Industry Award and determined by your relevant qualifications and experience.
Cook $72,000 - $74,000.00
Chef: $73,000 - $75,000.00
