Alpha Catering Pty Ltd in NSW is seeking applicants for a Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Fabricators position to join their team located in New South Wales.
All applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Have AQF Certificate III including at least two (2) years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience
• Must be able to work alone while being supported in a small team environment
• Good communication skills are a must both written and verbal
Duties are:
• Reviewing, drawings and other specifications before and during work on a fabrication process to ensure accurate completion
• Constructing base templates if necessary.
• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.
• Cutting and bending the metal objects.
• Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.
• Fabricating and constructing metal components.
• Grinding and finishing completed products.
• Performing quality checks on completed products.
• Conducting thorough inspections and performing necessary repairs to optimize the functionality and safety of structural railings and guards, complying with general maintenance guidelines.
• Proficiently utilising hand and power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments to carry out accurate cutting welding, and fabrication tasks.
• Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts.
• Demonstrating a strong attention to detail in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, guaranteeing precise alignment and fitting of components.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members, providing regular progress updates and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Undertaking any other duties or responsibilities reasonably required by a supervisor or manager.
• Complying with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
A remuneration package between $73,150 to $90,000 per annum plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
