Hotel Kununurra is seeking enthusiastic and efficient Housekeeping Team Leaders to join our team in Kununurra.
2 Full-time positions, 38hrs/week available.
Our venue consists of a 45-room hotel, sports bar and restaurant for hotel guests and the community. Many of the up to 40 staff also live on-site and this is a very busy hotel to live, work, experience and explore the Kimberley region.
Key responsibilities & requirements:
· Assist in the Management & Leadership within the Housekeeping environment;
· Consult with GM/HR on any staff issues;
· Comply with the Company processes governing Housekeeping;
· Ensure all Incidents/repairs are reported through KA Incident Reporting system;
· Ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained as per the requirements of room turnover;
· Liaise with Reception on updating CMS on room vacancies, preparedness daily and OOO accommodation;
· Carry out daily work schedule and room assignments with minimum disruption to guests;
· Control all laundry function and linen inventory whilst being the supervisor on shift;
· Ensure regular inspections of completed rooms to ensure a high standard of cleanliness daily;
· Liaise with Maintenance on any room damage/ repair;
· Follow up on correct procedure for lost and found;
· Assists in the ordering all cleaning, janitorial and amenity requirements;
· Comply with all reasonable directives from the GM and directors as required;
· Ability to work well within a team environment or autonomously as required; and
· Ability to be flexible with shifts, a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, evenings and early mornings is required.
