MACA continues to grow its portfolio of projects with the many recent awards of open pit mining services based all around WA and with future expansion, this is an opportunity to secure a long-term role and grow with our business.

Due to our record growth, we are seeking an experienced HD Fitters to join our business across a number of our sites. MACA are offering a suite of equipment across all sites, providing you with the opportunity to further develop your skillset. We are offering a mix of 2:1 and 2:2 rosters with FIFO, DIDO and BIBO options from Perth and selected regional townsites.

Your expertise in the areas of fault finding, diagnostic and repairs will be highly sought after and utilised in our sites workshops. In addition to the repair and maintenance of mobile plant and equipment on site you will be required to:


Perform routine maintenance in line with manufacturers and management requirements.
Diagnosing, repairing and overhauling plant and equipment including but not limited to trucks, drill rigs and generators.
Maintaining, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic components.
Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components.
Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle fuel systems.
Testing repaired parts for proper performance.
Using computers and specialised tools to diagnose and repair faults.
Inspecting vehicles and machinery for faults.


To be considered for these opportunities, we require successful applicants to have:


Qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or Fitter (Australian Trade Qualification or Formally Recognised Equivalent)
A forklift and dogging license and experience will be advantageous
Previous experience with the overhaul, repair and re-manufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components, preferably within the Mining, Earth moving, Agriculture and/or Construction equipment space
Have the ability to recognise product quality deviations/faults
Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
A National Police Clearance (Less than 6 months old)
Committed to maintaining a safe working environment
Be capable/willing to work shift work including overtime as required
