Griffith City Smash is a Panel Beating and Spray Painting Workshop as well as being an ARB 4x4 Accessories authorised stockist. Our service include Panel Beating, Spray Painting, Rust Repair, all insurance work, private work, auto robot 4WD electronic, chassis repair, hail damage and tilt tray services. WE are currently seeking to hire a qualified Panel Beater to join our busy workshop in Griffith NSW 2680.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Strong Commitment to safety – No short cut
- Remove damaged panels and components by unbolting or cutting them away
- Straighten badly damaged vehicles using mechanical and hydraulic equipment to obtain door, boot and bonnet clearances
- Fit the repaired panel on the framework of the vehicle and refit body hardware such as door locks and door trim
- Remove and replace accident-related mechanical items
- Realign chassis and body frames, and use chassis alignment machines and measuring systems
- Remove and replace auto-electric components
- Remove dents by hammering panels with special panel beating tools
- Drivers License
- Flexibility with hours
- Ability to work under pressure
- Time management and attention to detail
- Punctuality
- Willingness to learn
Skills & Abilities:
- Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Trade qualified panel Beater
- Excellent communications skills & the ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
