About the role:
Due to expansion and growth Nexus Airlines is seeking highly skilled Dash 8 – Q400 First Officers to join our team. With 3 positions located in Broome.
Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
In addition to flying duties, pilots are expected to assist with the following duties:
* Assisting the operations team as required
* Supporting other pilots with pre- and post-flight duties
To be successful in this role:
In addition to meeting the minimum experience qualifications, you will need to demonstrate that you have enthusiasm, energy, a high level of personal presentation, and have excellent people and communication skills. You will also have a positive attitude with the ability to be solution focused in challenging situations. The minimum experience and qualifications are as follows:
* CASA Commercial Pilot Licence (A)
* English language proficiency – Level 6
* ICAO class 1 aviation medical
* 1500 hours total flying
* 1300 hours in command
* 100 hours multi engine command
* 100 hours command / first officer DHC8 or similar (Desirable)
* MCC Certificate (Desirable)
