Bunbury Farmers Markets seeks experienced Production / Plant Engineers.
Role Summary:
Manage the installation, repairs and maintenance of our Food Production equipment.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Inspection and registration of new equipment in line with our Asset management processes
Working with the maintenance team to conduct routine maintenance on our food service equipment
Respond to repairs and issues raised by food handling staff in production areas
Manage our Preventative Maintenance Schedule
Assist with stocktakes on essential spare parts
Able to consistently work with a high degree of respect for all staff members
Safety responsibilities:
To work safely at all times, following all instructions and directions provided
Report any issues/incidents and ‘near miss’ incidents
Be responsible for the safety of our staff and customers in your day-to-day tasks
Stock control:
Ensure tasks are correctly carried out for quality control and food safety standards
Handle equipment carefully and correctly at all times
Communicate with external contractors required for equipment maintenance
Customer service:
Communicate showing respect at all times for fellow workers and our customers
Be warm, friendly and helpful in all staff and customer interactions
Ask for help when needed to improve product knowledge of our equipment and processes
Salary
The Annual Salary is $85,000 - $95,000 commensurate to qualifications, skills, & experience.
