Location: Teys Australia, Naracoorte, Meat Processing Plant

We are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Officer to join our team and help us maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Risk Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate risk management policies and programs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Training: Train employees on occupational health and safety procedures, promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
• Monitoring and Auditing: Conduct regular workplace monitoring and audits to assess compliance with safety standards.
• Incident Management: Record and investigate incidents, providing insights to prevent future occurrences and ensure safe working conditions.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and risk management practices.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Current driver’s license.
Work Environment:
You will work within our meat processing facility, with exposure to various environmental factors typical in a production setting.
• Full-time position with a salary of $80,000 per year, along with opportunities for reasonable overtime.
