As Director of Sales, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and enhancing our market presence at the Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort & Sunshine Coast Convention Centre. This pivotal role involves developing effective sales strategies and fostering strong partnerships to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Performance: Develop and implement sales strategies for both the Resort and Convention Centre to capitalize on opportunities and increase profitability.
- Budget Management: Oversee all Sales and Conference & Events budgets, ensuring financial targets are consistently met.
- Collaborate with Marketing: Partner with the Portfolio Marketing Team to execute integrated Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, and digital initiatives effectively.
- Revenue Team Partnership: Work closely with the Revenue team to create targeted action plans by segment, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing regular coaching and strategic guidance.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess sales performance against forecasts and budgets, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Resort Owners, regional tourism bodies, clients, and key partners.
