Position Descriptor: Manages the Secondary Aboriginal Education team and the whole school Aboriginal Team with the Primary Aboriginal Education Co-Ordinator including the induction of new staff, performance development, budget and resource management to ensure safe and appropriate teaching and learning practices are in place. Monitor the development and implementation of One Plans for ATSI students in the Secondary Years to monitor the progress of all Aboriginal students to ensure their engagement in learning and successful behaviour, attendance and achievement. Develop strong partnerships between all relevant groups including parents, staff, personnel working in the Aboriginal Education team & community agencies.
