Canex has an opportunity for 10 x Casual General Handypersons to work in a camp in Wickham, NT.
The roles can vary and you could be tasked with furniture removalist work, cleaning, general maintenance, waiting and light general labouring for the hospitality sector. For this exciting role you must have a good level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift.
Requirements:
- Ready and able to work long shifts (11 hours a day)
- Be flexible in your approach to work
- A great attitude with your work
- Be neat in tidy
- Be able to work alone or part of a team.
You will be required to work an average of 30 hours per week.
The term of work will be from August 2024 to April 2025
You will be paid either under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009], the Restaurant Industry Award [MA000119] or Building and Construction General On-Site Award 2020 [MA000020]
- The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Level 1 $30/hr up to $40+/hr
- Working hours will vary from anywhere from 6am to 11pm, 7 days per week.
- Overtime rates will be paid where applicable
- Upskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.
