Eilbeck Cranes is seeking to employ an Electrical Engineering Technician, to join our team based in Truganina, VIC.
About the job:
Analyse the performance of assemblies and electrical components.
Assist engineers with electrical engineering research.
Design, install and maintain electrical control and systems.
Test, calibrate and repair electrical equipment and systems.
Diagnose electrical system faults.
Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry.
Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems.
Estimating materials costs and quantities of crane parts and electrical system upgrades when required.
Inspecting crane designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations.
Testing electrical equipment and installations to conform to regulations and safety requirements.
Undertaking electrical workshop functions such as installing.
Ensure that work is performed within agreed times and to an acceptable standard ensuring all work complies with Australian standards.
Qualifications:
Engineering qualification
Previous experience with overhead cranes would be an advantage
