Role: Developer
Responsibilities:
1. Working with business users to gather, clarify requirements and business rules by running workshops with stakeholders.
2. Design and implement guidelines for Data Platforms, including sourcing, loading, transformation, storage and extraction of data
3. Develop, maintain, and upgrade existing data workflows, deployment pipelines through all stages of application life cycle management
4. Design and implement data schema for data marts and pipelines for existing/new products
5. Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization on new and/or existing datawarehouse solutions.
6. Assist the Team in troubleshooting and supporting what they build, including support for production tickets resolution and root cause fixes.
7. Creating and maintaining documentation of data architecture, data flow, and data quality standards
8. Work individually or as part of a wider team on other development tasks as directed by the Manager/Head of IT
Skill and Experience:
1. Solid experience in EDW design and implementation
2. Strong experience in ETL architecting and design
3. Advanced skills in Microsoft BI Stack
4. Strong technical skills using the technologies in use (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS)
5. Good understanding of CI/CD pipeline (DevOps) including GIT, Code Deployment/Build and experience working with CloudFormation templates
6. Knowledge of SDLC & Agile methodologies with the ability to document business requirements and liaise with stakeholders
7. Good to have experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and PowerBI
8. Self-motivated, capable of taking the initiative and contributing to the team
