Qualifications and experience
- 1-3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of business machines or related equipment.
- Prior experience in diagnosing and resolving issues in manufacturing machinery preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanics or Engineering.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
- Inspect and test machinery, equipment, and control systems to diagnose issues.
- Repair, adjust, or replace worn or defective parts and wiring as needed.
- Order, install, and conduct tests on new parts to ensure compatibility and function.
- Maintain thorough records of repair and maintenance activities.
- Train and support staff on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with vendors on complex repairs or specialized parts.
- Ensure all work aligns with safety regulations and operational standards.
Skills
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with electrical and electronic equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
- Time management and task prioritization abilities.
