About the Role:
As 2IC to the CFO, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including:
Financial Reporting: Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. You'll also be involved in preparing year-end accounts in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and liaising with external auditors.
Accounts Payable: Managing the purchase ledger, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
Accounts Receivable: Overseeing the sales ledger, issuing invoices, and managing credit control to ensure timely payment from customers.
Payroll: Processing payroll using an Australian payroll
