Huons Projects and Engineering team are on the hunt for a qualified Fabricator to join the team at our Port Huon workshop.
The role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will:
Maintain and upgrade a variety of steel and aluminium vessels in Huons Fleet from ocean going ships to small Dinghies.
Undertake vessel construction and modifications, including a variety of projects on land and water.
This opportunity is a full-time position operating Monday to Friday. Above award wages and overtime rates apply.
About you
You have trade qualifications and experience in relevant discipline and are competent in MIG and TIG welding stainless and aluminium.
You are confident in your ability to fabricate and assemble as per engineers and shop drawings.
You have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate in small or large teams on projects.
