About this Opportunity
Reporting to the National HSE Manager, this newly created role will be the first point for contact for all Health, Safety and Environment related matters for our Auckland site. This role will advise, coach and guide the managers and employees on the company Health and Safety policies, procedures and practices. This role will assist in deploying strategic objectives and lead the implementation of specific HSE initiatives for Auckland site.
As the HSE Advisor, you will collaborate with the site to provide operational and hands-on support in the form of technical and practical HSE advice and coaching to establish and sustain a safety culture focused on risk reduction/management, injury prevention, and continuous improvement. This role makes sure all HSE legislation and other regulations are complied with, ensuring processes and standards are built consistently and high levels of system integrity are achieved through regular site auditing
