Full Time Diesel Motor Mechanic
Salary:
Base annual salary $88,920 p.a. plus super
$45 per hour 38 hours
Duties and responsibilities:
• Detecting and diagnosing faults in heavy vehicles,
• Dismantling and removing faulty parts,
• Replacing and repairing defective parts,
• Perform scheduled vehicle maintenance services,
• Repairing and replacing transmissions, steering, braking systems and other vehicle parts and components,
• Perform engine overhauls,
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management,
• Document all repairs,
• Perform repairs to manufacturers specifications,
• Carry out repairs in accordance with job sheet,
• Perform final checks on vehicles,
• Follow occupational health & safety requirements.
Required skills:
Hold trade certificate or qualification in heavy vehicle mechanical trade and have at least 2 years of work experience in the mechanical/automotive industry
