About the role
ARRCS are committed to Tennant Creek Region and have the following upcoming vacancies across our services from November 2024 with opportunities of up to 4 years
Pulkapulkka Kari Aged Care
Cook - 02 x Permanent Full Time Vacancy
($30.44 per hour base rate + penalties + super)
76 hours per Fortnight
This role would ideally suit a skilled cook who enjoys working in a multi-functional kitchen and likes to place a ‘personal’ touch on their meal design and preparation. As an aged care facility, we have multiple dietary requirements and permanent residents, therefore, you will be a cook who enjoys preparing a range of healthy options to provide variety for the residents in our care.
To work in our industry you must have/be willing to obtain the following;
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or a similar discipline
Extensive knowledge of health and safety legislation in response to food preparation, food handling and storage.
Current National Police Check (dated within 3 Months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Annual Influenza vaccination
Covid 19 Vaccinations & Boosters (Preferred)
First Aid Certificate
Availability to work across a 24/7 Roster to meet operational needs
NT Drivers' License
