Our growth plans see us needing to recruit an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who has current experience delivering positive behaviour supports to participants in Queensland, to join our professional and friendly team.
Thanks to our commitment to service excellence, demand for our services is continuing to increase which enables our expansion and creates the need to find a new practitioner living on the south side of Brisbane. We will consider a candidate who has a sound knowledge of The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework for reducing the use of restrictive practices, as well as a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner you will...
- Support our clients (NDIS participants), along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
- Identify meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
- Develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
- Ensure individual plans reflect our clients' goals, passions and strengths
- Build the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support our clients - family, carers, friends, etc

About you
- Current suitability with the NDIS Commission as a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Experienced providing positive behaviour supports in Queensland to participants living in Queensland
- Demonstrated ability to work positively in a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Confident computer skills
- Sound writing skills
- Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
