What is this role about?
Manager, Data Governance will work alongside Senior Manager, Data Governance to lead the data risk management and data governance function.
The role is essential for ensuring data risks are effectively identified, assessed, managed and monitored across Cuscal, in line with regulatory expectations (CPG235).

- Execute Data and Data Risk Management Roadmap, Workplan: Lead the execution of Data and Data Risk Management Roadmap, Work Plan to implement data management principles.
- Embed Risk Practices and Mindset: Collaborating with product domains and corporate functions to embed data risk management principles and minimum requirements into day-to-day business activities.
- Risk Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular updates for review highlighting key risk areas and recommendations, for reporting at Data Governance Committee (DGC), Technology Risk Committee, Enterprise Risk Committee.
- Facilitations of workshops: Bringing data under management at Cuscal to ensure critical data elements are identified, understood with business lineage, have quality requirements defined, have risks and controls assessed, and data issues managed, reported and resolved.
- Line 1 Risk: Perform 1LoD data risk management supporting teams with risk identification, assessment, incident and issue management, controls implementation and vendor risk assessment.
- Operationalise the Data Operating Model: Act as change champion and SME for Data Owners and Data Stewards.
- Custodian of Data Governance Tool: Support the rollout and adoption of the tool to product domains and corporate functions.
