Full-time, stable position with a reputable business. Task & Responsibilities Identify repairs and technical issues with vehicle engines and systems. Handle all aspects of vehicle mechanic services on-site, including testing, modifying, and repairing lightweight vehicle engines and mechanical components. Conduct tire-related duties, such as pressure checks, mounting, and balancing. Replace or repair body panels, bumpers, and headlights as needed. Disassemble and reassemble engines, replacing and fixing faulty components as required. Repair and maintain motor subassemblies, including clutches, brakes, and transmissions. Utilize diagnostic scanners to identify and troubleshoot OBD system fault codes. Connect diagnostic tools to OBD systems to program modules, perform adaptations, and relearn parts after repairs. Replace defective parts using hand tools, hydraulic presses, flexible power presses, and other power tools. Disassemble subassembly units, examining the condition, movement, or alignment of parts with visual checks or using gauges. Interact with computers and software for diagnostics, repair tracking, and customer reporting. Qualification & Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Motor Mechanic or in a similar role. Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or equivalent qualifications. Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing lightweight motor vehicles. Ability to use diagnostic scanners and automotive software. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Registration or licensing may be required.
