Direct Agri seek 20 people to work in the role of Food Production Worker in a busy production and warehouse team at a salad processing facility in Bairnsdale, Victoria.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working on a fast-paced production line.
Working in a cold room environment between 2-4 degrees.
Achieving output and line speed targets within set timeframes.
Ensuring food safety standards are met.
You will be responsible for working towards achieving production targets while working effectively and efficiently towards strict food quality standards.
SELECTION CRITERIA
A proactive can-do attitude.
Must be physically fit, able to repetitively lift between 15-20kg.
Forklift licence advantageous, however, not essential
Be able to stretch, bend and lift arms repetitively above shoulder height for certain roles.
Be willing to work in a cold environment (between 2-4 degrees). PPE to keep you warm is provided
Be eager to learn and adapt to daily challenges.
Experience within the food industry will be highly regarded, but not essential.
Day (5:30am & 10:30am), afternoon (2pm), night (8pm) and midnight (12:00am) shifts are available, and are paid in accordance with the Vegco Pty Ltd & United Worker Union Enterprise Agreement 2021. Shift penalties apply. Positions are full time. You must be willing to work shift work and any day of the week. Positions commence late November, 2023 for a period of 1 to 4 years.
