LS Precast are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Civil Engineer to join their team in Benalla VIC 3672.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that the design and construction methods for each element meet standards.
- Support the procurement process of plant, equipment & material to support time and budget expectations to manufacture precast concrete elements.
- Development and manage daily cost reporting against multiple elements which include but are not limited to –
raw materials, cast in items, consumables and labour.
- To provide on-site engineering support to meet program requirements.
- Provide technical knowledge for manufacturing general precast, Pre-stressed & post tensioned concrete elements.
- In conjunction with stakeholders, develop & review SWMS & work procedures to support manufacturing of precast element.
- Monitoring key precast concrete manufacturing requirements and implementing prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
- Ensure that work lots are monitored and maintained to support delivery of completed units to customers.
- Support the Senior Project Engineer with accurate & timely information for current scope & any future tendered work
Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.PE license preferred.
- 3 years of civil engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD and design tools.
- Knowledge of construction processes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
Salary range is $125,000 - $145,000pa commensurate with experience
