As we continue to delight guests with our culinary creations, we are looking for a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team.

About the Role:
We are searching for a passionate Cook who is experienced in preparing Indian cuisine and can thrive in a busy kitchen environment. You will be responsible for creating a variety of dishes, working closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistent quality and presentation, and maintaining high standards in food preparation. Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, and vegetarian options, ensuring that each dish meets our quality standards.
2. Kitchen Operations: Assist in day-to-day kitchen activities, including stock management, food storage, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
3. Consistency & Quality: Ensure that all food prepared meets Bhoj at Docklands’ standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.
4. Adherence to Recipes: Follow established recipes and portion controls, contributing to a consistent dining experience for all guests.
5. Safety & Hygiene: Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
6. Collaborative Cooking: Work alongside other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak times, showing a willingness to help where needed.

What We’re Looking For:
1. Qualifications: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook, preferably with experience in Indian cuisine or a similar setting.
3. Skills: Knowledge of traditional Indian spices, cooking methods, and presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
4. Work Rights: Must have full working rights in Australia.
5. Attributes: Punctual, reliable, and a team player. A strong passion for cooking and delivering high-quality food.
