Stone Mason & Artist Pty. Limited is the product of four generations in the stone masonry and building industry. Stone Mason & Artist Pty. Limited provides complete restoration services, building make safe (risk reduction), foreshore/seawall construction and restoration, engineering solutions, and continued maintenance planning.
A new and exciting position has become available for a skilled, full-time mechanical engineer.
The position will entail:
• Perform routine mechanical engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
• Write and edit mechanical specifications, and select mechanical systems and devices
• Develop an understanding of the different building materials and techniques employed in design.
• Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties
• Perform initial and ongoing design reviews
• Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors
• Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and system capabilities; and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
• Manage technical solutions and inputs to resolve problems and ensure the efficient delivery of the project.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience.
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Superannuation
