About the role
At Coates, our Fitter Mechanics play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment is safe and ready for hire.
This role will assume responsibility for the efficient and effective servicing, of our extensive range of hire equipment and machinery, ensuring exceptional customer service and a high standard of safety at all times.
We have multiple vacancies around Western Australia , in metro and regionally.
A day in the life of a Fitter Mechanic at Coates:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment
• Ensure appropriate stock levels of spare parts are available
• Maintain up-to-date service records for all service and repair work
• Minimise operational down time of equipment
• Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture - champion safety with your colleagues and customers.
About you
Your high levels of customer service and Can-Do attitude, are complemented by:
• Trade qualifications
• A Forklift ticket is also desirable
• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics pneumatics and basic electrical skills
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Trouble shooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
• Your commitment to safety
