Position: FULL TIME
Role: ICT Business Analyst
Annual salary: $85,000 to $100,000 plus Superannuation
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, document and maintain QPA’s Information Management Plan
• Liaise with the employees and stakeholders to document the business requirements
• Analyse the system procedures, user manual and work practices
• Analyse and design the dashboards of the data and provide necessary reports to the Managing director, Management team, and the respective board members
• Design and provide Mock-ups to the software developers to convey QPA’s expectations
• Preparation of reports
o Prepare and present reports on operations benchmarks
o Prepare and present reports against operational benchmarks and standards within time frames specified
o Provide monthly IT status maintenance report through meeting schedule
o Liaise with key stakeholder groups, providing data as required
• Test the deployment and provide feedback to ensure that the software developers are meeting the requirements
• Receive and collate recommendations for suggested updates and bug fixes to Connect and FileMaker to software developers
• Create a database design that incorporates all tables from the Connect backend and the current database. Whilst also enabling data capture in multiple tables simultaneously.
• Develop a user flow to help QPA staff navigate and understand the system
• Conduct testing to ensure that the database scripts are functioning as expected
• Monitor the database and apply necessary changes based on program requirements
• Provide budget calculations and predictions of future income to the Finance Manager; make predictions for the financial year project.
• Analysis of accredited practice data submission of monthly reports to the Australian Commission on Safely and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC): Liaison with ACSQHC project
• Preparation and maintenance of a comprehensive data dictionary for QPA applications, Internal Database design
• Monitor, Manage and update the website as per QPA guidelines and marketing promotions to keep the stakeholders updated
• Other ad-hoc duties providing IT training and assistance (connect and database) to surveyors and QPA staff when requested.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
• At least 3 years full-time work experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
Candidates must have:
• Experience in gathering, documenting and managing user requirements
• Outstanding time management and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience in process modelling and improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
