BCE Surveying is a Licensed and Engineering Surveying company operating throughout Australia with offices in Perth, Bunbury and Sydney. Specialising in providing innovative solutions to all aspects of Civil Construction, SMP, Machine Guidance, Investigation Surveys, Terrestrial Scanning and Mobile Laser Scanning most recently Utility and 3D Subsurface mapping services.
BCE run the Trimble MX8 which is a premium survey grade mobile laser imaging system capturing fully synchronized, high-quality georeferenced point clouds and high-resolution imagery, this vehicle-mounted system is the only one of its kind in Australia.
Additionally, BCE also runs the IDS GeoRadar System which is a mobile GPR system (CART) capturing subsurface artefacts as high-resolution imagery similar to a CAT Scan of the ground.
They require a Surveyor to join their team in Bunbury, WA.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Site Surveys - Prepare for civil engineering projects by leading surveys and compiling information about proposed project sites.
- Prepare Blueprints and Specifications - Support surveyors civil engineers by preparing specification sheets for entire projects or components.
- Estimate Material Needs and Costs - Maintain project budgets by estimating material needs and costs based on project specifications.
- Inspect Construction Sites - Conduct periodic inspections of sites and monitor surveyor activities.
- Perform Material Testing - Taking soil samples and analysing them as required as well as conducting tests on construction materials and elements as required at the surveying site.
- Prepare Project Reports - Prepare progress reports, presenting them to surveyors, civil engineers and other personnel. Compare project timelines and costs to expectations and report on potential delays or issues that arise during construction.
To be considered you will need a relevant bachelor degree or higher qualification and at least two years of relevant post-qualification employment experience as a Surveyor.
This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $75,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
