This well-renowned family run company promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment, allowing a seasoned IT professional the room and autonomy to demonstrate their broad range of skills. You will be the friendly face of their IT Department. You will be working on-site five days per week ensuring the company's infrastructure runs smoothly. Ideal for someone passionate about customer service with strong technical skills to resolve incidents efficiently and prioritise tasks as required. Your new role In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
ProvidingL1-L3 on-site technical support to their employees
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
Ensuring all equipment is appropriately monitored and accounted for, including decommissioning by implementing strong processes to follow.
Act as the stand-alone IT expert, delivering a broad range of on-site IT support
Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and network components.
Implementing and maintaining security policies to protect IT systems from viruses and threats.
Deliver IT projects and initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving user requests in a timely manner
Maintaining and updating the knowledge base
Ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of the network
Knowledge and experience with: Windows Servers, Hyper-V / VMware and Office365 and Networking
Hands-on experience with a range of hardware and software.
Excellent communication and customer service experience.
