Typical skills and responsibilities

Generalist HR support, acting as the first point of contact for HR queries;
Supporting the HR Manager to ensure HR policies and processes are understood and current;
HR administration and coordination across all employee activities;
Provide HR support to hiring managers and employees.

Qualifications         
Appropriate HR or related qualifications are desired but not essential.
Background

Experience working on infrastructure projects is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience in a similar role supporting a HR team in a fast paced project environment.
Previous experience in HR/Payroll systems
Excellent attention to detail with basic knowledge of Australian employment legislation and awareness of compliance requirements.
Ability to work autonomously and without supervision, often with competing priorities and interests.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
