Working with a brilliantl team of IT specialists, you will be Providing High-Level expertise to the design, migration and deployment of a national SQL solution.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide technical support including installation, configuration, maintenance, security of the SQL Server operating system
Manage the design, delivery and architecture of a SQL migration project
Performs system and software patching and firmware updating; installs server hardware and operating systems.
Review each server and determine the best method for upgrading/refreshing OS
Need to work with the end user or supplier, to identify components that need to be upgraded and then to upgrade/migration/remediation plan for each server
Identify databases that are no longer in use,
