Position Overview:
The Electronic Equipment Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both domestic and commercial coffee machines. This role involves troubleshooting electronic systems, performing regular maintenance, and providing technical support to ensure that all machines deliver optimal performance. The technician will also assist with customization projects and collaborate with the sales team to provide the best solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and test faults in coffee machines, including electronic systems, control panels, and wiring, to ensure reliable operation.
Perform regular maintenance and servicing on both domestic and commercial machines, maintaining them in top working condition.
Reassemble and test machines after repairs and adjustments to verify proper operation.
Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic issues and optimize machine performance.
Provide on-site repairs, installations, and technical support as needed.
Assist with the customization of machines to meet specific customer requirements.
Collaborate with the sales team to advise customers on the best machine setups and operating procedures.
Educate customers on correct machine operation and preventative measures to avoid future malfunctions.
Maintain detailed service records and reports, ensuring adherence to safe work practices and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
Certificate IV in a relevant field of electronics or equivalent experience in electronic troubleshooting.
Victorian Driver's License.
2 years of experience in electronic equipment repair.
Solid electrical experience or a good understanding of electronics and troubleshooting.
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
