Your new company
Work for a large well known education provider as a Senior OHS Business Partner to be accountable for leading the review, establishment, implementation and evaluation of policy and process systems to support all employees and students to be healthy and safe at work.
This position will see you reporting to the Chief People Officer at this stage.
Your new role This opportunity is a full-time contract until the end of Feb 2025, offering flexible hours and a hybrid work model, with the office based in Dandenong.
This exciting opportunity may also move into a permanent position for the suitable candidate.
Duties required
Develop and implement management systems, and initiatives to continuously improve the health, safety and psychological outcomes.
Providing expert health and safety advice and support managers, including incident investigations, root cause analysis and follow-up support.
HSW audits, reporting and trend analysis to monitor and measure performance for improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement systems and initiatives to continuously improve HSW outcomes and create a culture that promotes accountability and values the wellbeing of our people.
Other duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Certified Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner.
Lead Auditor Occupational Health and Safety (ISO45001/ AS4801) or similar.
Proven competency in the provision of expert OHS management, quality management systems, or a related field in a complex, multi-risk environment.
Proven experience in policy development, particularly in the context of individual health plans.
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in health and safety reporting, incident management and root cause analysis.
