Our client BLACKBOARD NORTHERN RIVERS PTY LTD T/A Tucker located in Casuarina, NSW is looking for a full-time Chef to join the team. This exciting opportunity will suit a candidate who is adaptable and work well within a dynamic environment.
The position requires the following:- relevant AQF Diploma AND 3 years of relevant work experience.
The role includes but is not limited to:
• planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
• monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• discussing food preparation issues with Managers, kitchen and waiting staff
• demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
• preparing and cooking food
• explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
• assisting with selecting and training staff
This is a full time role, with a remuneration in the range of $73,150 to $80,000 p.a. (depending on skills, experience and qualifications) plus superannuation.
