In this role, you will develop and implement innovative solutions for complex environmental challenges while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting environmentally responsible corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative solutions for complex environmental challenges, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Support the development of environmentally responsible corporate policies that align with national standards and guidelines.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to achieve compliance with national safety standards and provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and certification processes.
Facilitate project approvals without delays while ensuring all activities adhere to environmental regulations.
Coordinate and monitor environmental testing and sampling activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Promote steel recycling initiatives and contribute to the development of strategies that support a circular economy and address environmental concerns.
Create certification documents and signage for compliance.
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental management systems for the business in accordance with ISO 14001.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on steel recycling, hazardous materials, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of national environmental regulations and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
Experience in developing and implementing environmental management systems (EMS).
