About Our Client: Our client is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life in their community through effective infrastructure and asset management. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Strategic Asset Management Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise asset management and city programs.
Regularly gather, assess, and update asset data, including valuations and maintenance records.
Produce reports highlighting the benefits of sound asset management strategies.
Develop and implement asset condition data collection programs.
Prepare annual reports on the client's assets for government departments.
Manage and lead improvements to Asset Management Plans for Civil Engineering assets.
Conduct predictive modelling to develop a ten-year capital renewal program.
Contribute to budget preparation and asset financial reports.
Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
Conduct audits and update asset data.
Engage external contractors for asset condition data collection.

Key Selection Criteria:

Tertiary Degree in Civil Engineering with substantial experience in infrastructure asset management, or extensive experience in local government asset management.
Relevant experience in data analysis and outcome reporting.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and draw conclusions for reporting.
Proficient in information technology software, including SQL and reporting packages.
Knowledge of financial principles related to asset valuation and renewal planning.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to liaise with various stakeholders and create networks with relevant organisations.
Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
Understanding of OHS and EEO personnel practices.
