Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Permanent - Parramatta/Hybrid - Must be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident currently.
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will support our critical business applications and cloud infrastructure as well as being responsible for managing elements of design, implementation and support our Microsoft Azure environment.
About the role
Management and configuration of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure services and the design, build and deployment of environments and workloads
Facilitating the provisioning of cloud resources, virtual network infrastructure, secrets management and implementation using governance standards and best practices
Supporting the development and test environments as well as associated DevOps tools
Strategic planning regarding optimizations for the improvement of the core infrastructure.
Supporting and troubleshooting cloud resources to ensure availability, resiliency and costing efficiency.
About you
Strong understanding and experience managing complex Azure environments with multiple intertwined subscriptions
Administration experience with Windows Server including DNS, DHCP, AD, Group Policy etc
A solid understanding of networking principles including CIDR, the TCP stack, Routing protocols and experience working in a WAN / Hybrid Cloud environment
Strong technical problem solving skills, attention to detail and root cause analysis
Hands-on experience with Azure Keyvaults and Vnets.
