About the Role
The Consultant Neurologist will provide specialist Neurophysiological assessments of both inpatient and outpatient patients. The Neurologist will be required to be competent in performing, reporting and teaching a full range of peripheral neuromuscular investigations (including complex EMGs, nerve conduction studies, single fibre EMGs, repetitive stimulation studies and other specialised techniques). The Neurologist will also be responsible for overseeing and/or reporting QSART, QST and evoked potential testing. The Neurologist will be involved in the supervision and teaching of Registrars attached to the Neurology Unit, and a Neurophysiology Fellow.
Your Contribution Personal competence by supporting internal training programs and encouraging developmental opportunities including continuing medical education and participating in regular performance reviews with the Head of Neurophysiology.
